Lockheed Martin is actively seeking a professional to be the deployed Dragonlady U-2 Senior Systems Engineer Field Tech Support. This is an unaccompanied overseas field service assignment at Al Dhafra AB, UAE (United Arab Emirates). Applicant selected will perform duties on the flight line and phase dock as directed by supervision. Will perform as a hands-on technician for many tasks. Will also function as a technical advisor and Air Force (AF) 7-skill level augmentee in electrical and avionics and at the 5-skill level or better in electronic warfare and IADL/DDL-2 data link system specialties on the flight line. Troubleshooting skills, knowledge of tech data, U-2 drawing system, work documentation systems and hands-on ability required.

This position is required to ensure the success of combat operations or to support combat essential systems subsequent to mobilization or an evacuation order. In the event of an emergency situation, the incumbent must continue to perform the E-E duties until relieved by proper authority. Failure to remain in the position will result in separation for the efficiency of the Federal service. This job necessitates deploying for both short and/or long durations to locations in both CONUS (United States) and OCONUS (overseas). These trips may be up to 12 mons in duration or longer, depending on circumstances.
